This is perhaps how I wish my next M4 project to turn out. It will be based kinda off of how the M4 looked when I did my reflexive/discrimination/night/on the move fire. I'd want something really close to an M68 CCO for my sight, any rear iron sight (probably like in the pic, because I have that kind of shit laying around somewhere). I would give it a forgrip and flashlight since I know the PEQ II will end up not having a working laser. This would be a rifle that has a spring for CQB (a 90 spring might do it) and a 6.03mm barrel so I can reach out and molest my enemy from a distance. I would put the flashlight on the bottom because it leaves a shadow that can be used for low-light/no-light indexing purposes. I'd require the PEQ replica to emit a real laser. I would also need Pmags and OD accessories. the clubfoot stock would be for housing a 9.6v battery. I would also need to have a good comfortable grip since I'd be going far with this and hiding behind stuff to explode the night into unexpected destruction for my enemy. oh, and the flash hider would have to look silly.

Future Weapons of Interest
well, there are weapons that will never see the airsoft world. there are weapons that only one person makes and its not worth getting. Then there are a few models that are worth getting but I cant because of money issues. I might talk here about guns I have talked about before, and might come up with other ways to configure it than I said before. This is just what I am thinking right now as I type this particular post. BERETTA RX4 Made ridiculously popular by magazines and GRAW 2, this weapon has been reduced to law enforcement purposes. Civilians aren't allowed to own it because its too damn cool. Its not practical for "sports" (terrorist hunting seems more like an occupation or a hobby, but not a sport). JLS makes a replica of this. If I owned one, I would give it a ACU paintjob and try to hydrograph a skull onto both sides of the stock. then I would matte coat it for protection and would not likely play with it for about 2 weeks because it would take 1 week to get the paintjob to look as I want it to, and another week for it to cure to the plastic. Then it would take some more time for me to put the decals on it that I want. This would likely be a weapon for specific impressions and character play. ACU by my understanding is Foliage Green, Mild Tan and OD Green put together... or some weird shit that only exists in gravel pits. I would use the foliage green and the tan, but I would put a darker green as the third color instead of that color I can find the name for. For optics, I would give it something as close to an Aimpoint M68 CCO as cheaply possible. I would not waste my time upgrading the internals. I'd just try my hardest to shoot people before they zero in on me with my awkwardly colored rifle. H&K XM8 an officially cancelled project, this weapon is good for airsoft because I'm not melting the handguard. The airsoft version comes with a 3x instead of a red dot. I would remedy that by giving it a red dot of my own. I'd get it in OD green and fuck shit up with this rifle. if I gave it any upgrades it would be a 6.04mm barrel to help it look better on the field when i run around looking like someone from a space aged movie. H&K HK416 This is a simple rifle to modify. a few companies make replicas of this and some are really affordable. With a 6.03 and an ACOG, it could act very proper on the field. I know that I would need to give this a PEQ-II and an M3 aimpoint since it would be my ranger or SF rifle. a broomhandle would also go nice on the front for stability. I'd opt for the longer barrel for this M4 replacement so that I can house an accurate inner barrel. H&K HK417 If someone makes a useable replica of this, I'd go with a 6.03mm barrel (seems commonly prefered) and a 3x mil-dot optic with a bipod and forgrip and .3g's. I'd sharpshoot with this rifle and complain when the mags are too expensive to get extras. FN SCAR-L FN's attempt to give our special forces a more reliable rifle, I'd get this in tan and put a holograph on it. I would also give it a suppressor tracer illuminator and use this for my Future Fighting gear. 6.04mm barrel for ease and accuracy, I would use this when I have to play a special purpose fighter. FN SCAR-H a really good rifle for guys like me who prefer to shoot big bullets, this companion to the SCAR-L is perfect as a sharpshooter or a CQB rifle. as a sharpshooter, I would use a tan one and paint some brown into it. For the CQB, I'd get a black one with the short barrel and use an open red-dot reflex optic. These are expensive replica's, and will not likely happen for me. if you like one of them and can afford it, go ahead and make it into what you want and show off some pics on your local airsoft forum.

Sniper Design 2011-03-29
I just read an article by Gabe Suarez in a special edition of a magazine I sometimes read. He talks about Kalashnikov inspired sniping systems. He did not talk about the Dragunov SVD, since its a much harder weapon to get. He instead discussed the PSL and the converted Saiga 308. these happen to be wonderful weapons since they have calibers that work for long range shooting and are able to be acquired by an American enthusiast. This has inspired me to come up with a neat cost friendly idea for a Kalash-minded "sniper" rifle. My plan, if I ever get around to it, is kinda simple. It requires a few more modifications this way, but its really possible. Most of the upgrades are the same, the only thing that would change is the rifle used to do it. First, I would get a low costing AK that has the bar on the side of it for the scope mount. it has to be solid stock and full sized or I'm wasting time. I would have to get a 6.03mm barrel and a 3x simple scope and proper fitting rings in order to make sure that one doesnt make the other a waste. the 6.03mm barrel would have to be extended, otherwise its just a "better assault rifle," when I am looking for a "sharpshooting platform." To protect the extended inner barrel, a suppressor tube would be fixed to the end of the rifle. A 3x scope is ideal, because then you can see what you are shooting. If you can get a really good zero on the optic, then you are the man (or woman, dont correct me!). If you get the hopup adjusted correctly and are using .25g's, you will have a rifle worthy of the scope. a 9.6v battery in the stock would give me the trigger response that I need. I am NOT GOING TO FUCK WITH THE GEARBOX!! I will say one more time just to be clear, I AM NOT GOING TO FUCK WITH THE GEARBOX!! Some would ask why I am using profanity... dont ask, I dont wanna discuss it. Some would ask why I am bolding that point, or making the choice to keep the gearbox stock. This is kinda simple, but I'll explain just in case. Where I play airsoft, the rules for a sniper rifle are screwy. 1st sword states you have to have a certificate to use a sniper rifle that shoots over 400fps WART offers qualifications 1st Sword offers qualifications maybe twice a year Spokane Airsoft offers qualifications but they are too far for me to go. this is just way too much trouble for me to put up with. I dont have time to go take a test to show people that I am smart enough to know what 100 feet looks like. I dont wanna put myself in a position where I can only use a single shot or semi-only rifle. I dont wanna have to break stuff to make this rifle semi-only... I wanna be able to shoot people who jump up at 30 feet away, not have to drop it to draw a pistol only to find my head shot off by some kid who has a drum on his M4 who then lectures me later on that even though he is half my age that his dad gives him lots of money for being a good boy and that he is better than me with his superior technology that he had worked on by someone he doesnt even know how to say his real name! Instead, I will keep it simple because we are trying to save money and time. on a chronograph, this is still an AEG, in common use, it is still an Assault Rifle... think of it as giving steroids to your AK. But once you open the gearbox, you go into a new world of "oh jesus christ!! I just screwed up something simple!" This way, a battery and barrel upgrade will do extremely well in making this rifle reach where you want it to reach. I'm not even gonna discuss replacing the motor. I might have the fuse replaced with a mosfet by a celebrity in our area. But the bottom line is, its a cheap and simple way to make a kalashnikov sniper system. you can use a high end AK, or you can use a Cyma. Some JG models will work. But you have to have the ability to put the scope on it. Otherwise you are wasting time on the other stuff. you can do it scopeless if you feel like it. then you are doing something else and should consider what the point of this rifle is in the first place. Thank you for reading. Hope you found this useful. if not, show it to someone who will.

Achievement Pt2
I previously talked about how I got to order shit and might get to finish my 3 weapon projects and get a plate carrier.
This is the problem with the G36C that needs ammended.
This is the G36C in a timer-photo shoot.
This is the AK I need to remedy with the scope mount so I can aim it accurately.
This is the M4 I intend to put a holograph on so that I can aim it with either hand, or just be able to shoot it at targets more accurately in the first goddamn place.

Mosin Nagant 1893/30 & SVT-40
In the airsoft world, we are all wrapped around AK's, M16's, M4's and G36's. What nobody seems to remember is that the same job you would do today with an M4 (clearing out a room full of bad people), russians did with Papashah and Mosin along with Mr. Tokarev. Everyone thinks the rate of fire is what makes a CQB weapon, when the PPSH-41 actually jumped too much. Some think that a huge gun isnt good for clearing out a room. Actually... they had knives for shit like that. amazing...
Mosin Nagant 1891/30, a combat rifle made by the Soviet Union and given to ever other soldier who would rush the shore of Stalingrad. The first man got shot, the second man picked up that rifle and use the stripper clip he was given to fight. Very similar to Call of Duty. They had to get that info from somebody, and chances are they found one or two surviving reds from that day and asked "what the hell happened?" or "why were there so many russians with pistol rounds in the back of their heads?"
If a scope was put on this, it was probably one of the best sniper rifles the Soviet Union ever put out before they realized that semi-auto is the way to go and built the Dragunov SVD, SVDk and SVU. This is probably one of the cooler rifles, though you dont have to pay a thousand for it. they have the shorter versions of this rifle for half the price. For airsoft, the shorter versions are probably better.
the SVT-40 happens to be a rifle not issued to the entire Soviet Army. it was kinda complex.
I haven't located an airsoft version yet, but when I do I'll post it.

Achievement
well, I managed to get permission to order a few things. this will not happen often. that sucks but I'll man up over it.
I will name most of it by its counterpart name, not what the company called it to save time with copyright.
Eotech 552 replica. this is something I have been needing for a long time. it will go with my M4 and have this appearance
I ordered an M16A2 flash hider for my G36C, so now it will have some sort of look like this
this was the cheapest way.
my AKS-74U will get a scope mount. that means that I can finally aim it. since the front iron sights are shit, and the front end is wobbly, I must use a red dot in hopes of hitting anything at all!
how did I get this? well, a video is being produced to tell the story. stay tuned!

Lots of Firepower!!
When playing airsoft, some would think "Is there a way to carry more ammo?"
yes.
there are a couple ways to carry a huge gigantic overload of ammo.
This is one of the current ways to do it. the FN MINIMI (M249 SAW) is the current US Army support weapon. The reason we use it is because its lighter than an M60 (weapon and ammo) and its easier to control and aim for some people. I personally prefer to have one of each (though different variations).
Here you can see clearly a better way to carry a bullet sprayer. The shorter barrel, the aiming aid and the shortening stock reduces the weight and allows for better moving and if needed, stowing of the weapon for use at another time. Or it helps when its in the car I can put it in my trunk better.
This is something I would carry often if I had one. This is either an M60E3 or by military terms a Mk43. This might not be optic friendly but it can do much damage and level the play field.
the best way to make this do what you need it to do is simple, yet not so simple.
for an indoor which for the purpose of this blog will be the M249 SWP it will look something like this.
I'd not be so inclined to put an optic on it for CQB since its more of a generalized spray it all over the fucking place. a 6.04mm barrel and a 80 spring would work nice, and then a 9.6v battery will help me spend my ammunition. If I went with an optic, it would be something simple like a red dot. Maybe a 2x red dot since it can fire farther away and spend more ammo.
For a field LMG, it will likely be a Mk43 with a 6.03mm barrel and a 100 spring with an 11.1v lipoly battery and a super badass mosfet or resettable fuse.
Some cannot go with this option. so there is a cheaper alternative.
