AK family

well, there are a few things I like. One of them is the AK and its derivatives. One thing I like is how reliable and cool the AK is. Most are hateful of the AK because of its origins. This was once our enemy. Now we utilize it and do the job better.
I have the Cyma 035, a replica of the AKS-74U. I enjoy it because it is small and allows me to be agile. the 600 round high cap also makes me smile.


Costing very little at the time, this has done alot for me. So far the only thing that has been done to it is the spring downgrade for CQB. I intend to give it a 6.03mm tightbore and a red dot installation by utilizing the scope mounting bracket on the side.

THE DISTANT FUTURE

I intend to get 3 more AK's to go with my entire collection of airsoft weaponry.

AK-74M: I plan to get this so that I can have 3 full sized AK models in one AEG. I will accomplish this by using either the AK74 mags and calling it "AK-74M," or using the AK47 mags and calling it a "AK103." I could also find a way to get the mags that are specialized AK74 mags and calling it "AK101."

AK101=5.56x45mm, AK103=7.62x39mm, AK-74M=5.45x39mm. All three of these serve a purpose. the AK103 is used in alot of latin countries today. the AK101 is used by people in North America. the AK-74M is the current service rifle of Russia.

CM047D: this is something that resembles the AK102, AK104 and AK105. these are the shorter barrelled versions of the 101/103/74M respectively. I would do the same thing with the mags, in fact I'd probably have a huge stash of AK mags for the two 100 series AK's that I need.

AKM: this is something I need to have as well. this was used by the spetznas during the afghan war, as well as other countries. this is the perfect opfor regulars rifle. if I am doing an africa game, a middle east game, a terrorist character, or some other badguy who is not special forces, this is the rifle I wanna use. Cyma has one that is perfect for me. I would try to have an optic to put on it now and then, depending on what I am trying to do.

for carrying AK stuff, I have a really good chest rig that is simple and good for lesser developed roles such as arabs and pre-dissolved soviet russia. I also have Chocolate Chip Desert for playing Iraqi forces, and Olive Drab flight suit that I can use to do russian stuff along with bandanas for the badassness effect, black uniform for law enforcement characters (some cops use AK in other nations), I can dress and act the part of an AK user.
